Holy Cross Hospital, one of the most trusted names in healthcare for more than 60 years and South Florida’s only non-profit Catholic hospital, has opened the doors of its new Urgent Care & Physician Offices, located at 3481 North University Drive in Coral Springs.
The community is invited to celebrate the opening of Holy Cross Hospital’s newest clinic at an open house on Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The free community celebration will include guided tours of the new 10,000-square-foot facility, functional movement and flexibility screenings, a health lecture on migraines, mini spa treatments, food and refreshments, musical entertainment provided by a live DJ, a photo booth, giveaways and parting gifts for guests.
“We are committed to bringing our highly rated medical care closer to all of our current and future patients who live and work in the Coral Springs community and surrounding areas,” said Holy Cross Hospital President and CEO Patrick A. Taylor, M.D. “Patients visiting our new Urgent Care and Physician Offices can expect the same high standards of excellence and compassionate care we offer at Holy Cross Hospital. With the busy lives we lead, our walk-in services and same-day appointments now provide residents of northwestern Broward County more convenient options to get the care they need.”
Open seven days a week, the clinic’s services include treatment of minor illnesses such as cold and flu, pink eye, and rashes; the administration of immunizations, vaccines and intravenous fluids; treatment of sprains, lacerations and burns; and care for common medical conditions such as high blood pressure, dizziness and nausea. Other services include annual physicals, digital x-rays, and physical therapy.
The Holy Cross Urgent Care Center is operational Monday through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Digital x-rays also are available at those times with a prescription. Physical therapy will be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday by appointment. Physician office hours vary.
The new facility, which features 22 treatment and exam rooms and two X-ray rooms, is the fourth in a series of ambulatory care centers that Holy Cross has opened throughout South Florida. The hospital’s other urgent care centers are located in Fort Lauderdale and east and west Boca Raton.
