Visitors to Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) can get free music and movies “on the fly” at the new Broward County FLLibrary, a satellite library location featuring the latest in streaming media technology.
The FLLibrary opened Wednesday, June 12th and is located between Terminals 3 and 4. At this innovative new space, passengers can relax, recharge their devices and recharge their minds with free music and movies. The walls of the FLLibrary have QR codes that passengers can scan to get an online Instant eCard and have immediate access to free online music and movies.
This is the latest partnership for the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Broward County Library. In 2011, the airport was the first in the world to broadcast a QR code directing travelers to free online library materials.
