Summer is on everyone’s mind. We may wonder how our children are going to learn and grow during the summer months. Playing outside or with friends is usually a given, but children often attend summer camp. While you may be tempted to save money and keep your older children at home, examine all of the following points carefully to help make an educated decision on what is the best option for your child or children.



                                

Flippo’s, a new indoor playground and activity center, is now open in Sunrise for a great destination for summer camp to South Florida families! Attractions include indoor playgrounds, innovative game rooms and engaging classes for families with kids from 1-14 years old. Flippo’s offers family-friendly entertainment including a Toddler Area, Laser Maze, Time Freak room, Ball Blaster and indoor Sports Court. From a rainy day escape to getting in from the heat to hosting your next birthday party, Flippo’s is an engaging place for active kids of all ages. Flippo's also has a separate full scale café! Art Paper Scissors, througout the day children will explore their creativity through our art focused curriculum. From paint to mixed media, children will be introduced to a variety of mediums and styles. Projects are adapted to the needs and comfort levels of all children. Sugar Sand Park Community Center has a wide variety of camp programs for various ages. The Children’s Science Explorium Camp offers your child a fun and exciting
opportunity to explore! Campers will experience a different science theme,consisting of three activities each day. We will engage in exciting experiments that will entice the curious mind of your budding scientist.
Ages: 5 to 12
Tuition: Weekly Cost: $107 Residents; $134 Non-residents
Dates: June 12 - August 7

Gumbo Limbo, Children and teens will be immersed in the native world around them through outdoor fun and hands-on activities! Games at the beach, dip netting in the lagoon, and cane-pole fishing are just a few of the outdoor adventures that bring our campers back year after year. Older campers learn to canoe and teens take a boat trip to Peanut Island. We also offer afternoon sessions (same activities as the morning). Don’t let your child or teen miss out on an amazing and educational summer camp experience they’ll never forget!
